The conditions for using the current MyClippy pilot, provided by Intelligentia Studios.
Using the pilot
MyClippy helps you move text and links between compatible devices on trusted private networks. Use it only on devices and networks you own or are authorized to use. Do not use it to monitor others, collect their information without permission, or transmit unlawful material. The current pilot is intended for adults.
Permissions and control
Automatic Android copying is optional and requires separate in-app consent and Android Accessibility settings. You can decline, turn it off or pause sync. The app does not guarantee capture in every app, reliable background operation on every phone, or delivery of every copy. Keep the companion desktop app running and check both transfer directions.
Local-network limitations
The pilot automatically enrolls reachable MyClippy installations on the local network without account or device approval. Local enrollment uses HTTP. Use a network where you trust all participants and avoid sending sensitive text. We do not promise isolation from other LAN users, independently audited security or recovery of copied text.
Your content
You retain rights to your content. MyClippy processes it to provide the sharing feature you enable. You are responsible for deciding what to copy and where to paste it. Pausing, uninstalling or clearing local data cannot retract copies already delivered to other devices or apps.
Availability and changes
The software is a pilot and may contain defects, change or become unavailable. Do not rely on clipboard history as a backup. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Third-party services and open-source components have their own applicable terms and licenses.
