Support
A little help getting your devices connected.
Contact Intelligentia Studios
Email intelligentiastudios@gmail.com with your app version, Android/macOS/Windows version, the direction that fails and the steps that reproduce it. Use a harmless test sentence. Do not send passwords, pairing credentials or private clipboard text. There is no guaranteed response time during the pilot.
Supported setup
Use Android 8 or later, an Apple-silicon Mac or a Windows x64 computer, and the same trusted private network. Keep at least one desktop MyClippy app open. The current pilot supports text and links, not images, file transfers, iPhone, Linux or internet-wide sync. Compatibility with individual Android apps and background policies can vary.
Android receives but does not send
Receiving and automatic capture are different features. In MyClippy, choose Set up automatic copy, read the disclosure and explicitly agree, then enable MyClippy automatic copy in Android Accessibility settings. Both consent and the system service are needed. Copy a new harmless sentence after setup. If it still fails, try Android Share → MyClippy or Send clipboard with MyClippy open.
Devices do not appear
Check that both devices use the same private Wi-Fi, the desktop app is running, and the firewall permits MyClippy on that private network. Guest Wi-Fi, client isolation or a VPN may prevent discovery. Android 17 also requires local-network permission. Pause and resume after correcting the network. Never disable your firewall entirely.
Ongoing notification
Android displays a foreground-service notification while connected-device sync is running. It provides status and a Stop action. Pausing stops sync; hiding the notification is not the supported way to stop sharing.
Privacy and deletion
Use the Privacy & data option in the app or the Data deletion page linked below. There is no account or cloud clipboard database. You must remove already delivered copies from each device or destination app separately.
