Join the MyClippy Android beta
MyClippy for Android is in beta on Google Play. Email us the Google account you use for Play; we add you to the test and reply with the link to install it. You also need MyClippy on a Mac or Windows PC on the same private Wi-Fi. The beta is free.

How to join
- Email us the Google account you use for Google Play on your phone, plus your phone model and computer. The email opens with a short template.
- We add that account to the Google Play test and reply with the testing link. Testers are added by hand, so this can take a little while.
- Open the link on your phone, signed in with the same account, choose Become a tester, then install MyClippy from Google Play.
- Install MyClippy on your Mac or Windows PC from Downloads and open both apps on the same Wi-Fi.
- Follow the setup guide to check a copy in each direction.

What we ask of beta testers
- Use MyClippy with your own phone and computer for at least two weeks, copying the way you normally do.
- Stay opted in for 14 days. Google Play requires at least 12 testers to stay opted in to a closed test for 14 days before an app can be released publicly, so staying in the test is the biggest help you can give.
- Tell us what breaks: email intelligentiastudios@gmail.com with your phone model, Android version, the direction that failed and steps using harmless text.
- Test with harmless text. Don’t copy passwords or private messages while sharing is on.
Before you join
- MyClippy shares plain text and links on your local network. It doesn’t sync images or files, and there’s no iPhone app.
- Any MyClippy installation that can reach your network can join, and the session key is shared over local HTTP. Use it only on private Wi-Fi where you trust everyone.
- Automatic copying from Android is optional and uses an Accessibility service — what it does and doesn’t do. Without it, received text still arrives and you can send with Share.
- It’s a pilot, so expect rough edges. Our device test results list what we’ve verified and what failed.

Is the MyClippy beta free?
Yes. The pilot is free, with no ads and no payment for testing.
Why do you need my Google account?
Google Play only lets accounts on a closed test’s tester list install the beta. The account you use for Google Play on your phone is how you get access.
Can I try MyClippy without an Android phone?
Yes. The Mac and Windows apps sync with each other without a phone. Download them from the Downloads page; no beta sign-up is needed.
Which Android phones work?
Android 8 or later. We have tested on a Google Pixel 7 with Android 17. Other brands and versions may behave differently, which is exactly what the beta helps us find.
How do I leave the beta?
Open the testing link on your phone and choose the option to leave the test, then uninstall MyClippy. To erase its data first, use Settings and help → Privacy & data → Clear local data in the app. Email us if you also want your address removed from the tester list.
